Osteopathic Manual Therapy

A healing art that involves the treatment of the body.

Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) recognizes that the body is an intrinsically self-healing, self-regulating and self-correcting organism.

You may have heard the words "Osteo", "Osteopath" or "Osteopathic", but have you heard of Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) before?

OMT is a profession that primarily aims to restore the natural pathways and function of the body by treating the root cause of the discomfort. An Osteopathic Manual Therapist will use gentle, non-invasive manual techniques such as touch, stretching, physical manipulation and massage to restore the body's natural function. An individual should consider seeing an Osteopath Manual Therapist to address any type of pain including Spine, Joint, Menstrual and Nerve pain as well as Scoliosis, Headaches, Asthma, Digestive Problems and more.

It is important to consider that there are various Osteopathic Training Certification programs, some more extensive than others. At 360 Brain Body Wellness Clinic we are proud to have 2 professionals on our staff who have either completed or are nearing completion of the more rigorous 4 year program. Clare Logan has been practicing OMT since completing her Thesis defences in 2015 and Christina  is in her final year of her training. Remember, not all Osteopathic Manual Therapists are created equal.
