Rebecca Derochie, MPT, BKin

Rebecca graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Masters of Physical Therapy and a Bachelors of Kinesiology. Her assessment and treatment techniques are founded in orthopaedic and manual therapy, however she integrates many principles from Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model (ISM) to determine the cause of injury and dysfunction. Rebecca aims to take an integrative approach to addressing each individuals concerns.   


Rebecca has extensive experience treating a range of conditions, which includes post-surgical care, breast cancer rehabilitation, motor vehicle accidents and sport-related injuries. She has a special interest in dancers and runners. With an extensive background in competitive dance, she utilizes her knowledge of movement to personalize care and tailor treatment. She is passionate about treating the body as a whole and working with her patients to optimize function and mobility.   


Rebecca has completed post-secondary education in Soft Tissue Techniques, the Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Functional Dry Needling (FDN), Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model, and has successfully completed her Intermediate exam while in pursuit of her Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative therapy.   


In her spare time, you will find Rebecca spending as much time outdoors as possible. This includes running, skiing and hiking!
